‘Gita Mahotsava’ Celebration
“You have a right to perform your prescribed duties,
but you are entitled to the fruits of your actions.
Never consider yourself to be the cause of results of your activities,
nor be attached to inaction.”
(Bhagwat Gita, Chapter 2- Verse 47)
The Bhagavat Gita is such an important scripture that it can help us get out of the dilemma of life. The Gita gives us the unique way of life that eases off our tension to enjoy a happy life.
The Gita is based upon the fundamental principles of human nature. It will always be a source of inspiration to human beings. Keeping all the significance of Gita for the students, RPS Sr. Sec. School Mahendergarh (Middle Wing) celebrated ‘Gita Mahotsava’. Students enacted on stage as’ Lord Krishna’ and ‘Arjuna’ bringing to life the scene on the battlefield of Kurukshetra when ‘Lord Krishana’ preached the Gita to Arjuna. Many students chanted a few shlokas in Sanskrit and explained their meanings. Some students delivered speeches highlighting how the Gita teaches their duties to face difficult times with courage.
On this occasion Mr. O.P. Yadav (Founder Director), Dr, Sarita V. Singh (Principal) and Mrs. Priti Sharma Head(Middle Wing) expressed their best wishes to students for ‘Gita Mahotsava’ and advised them to read and adopt the teachings of The Gita. They also emphasised “For the peace in the world, the knowledge of Gita is must.”
