Winter Carnival

Christmas is the time for family and friends to come together and there’s no better way to get in merry spirits than hosting or attending a ‘Winter Carnival’.
This year too, the fragrance of fun, joy and enthusiasm along with the festive spirit was felt in the Winter Carnival at  RPS Sr. Sec. School M/Garh.

On 25th December 2019, all the parents, guardians, friends, students and well-wishers of RPS school gathered the school premises to enjoy and celebrate ‘Winter Carnival’. The morning was cold but it went unnoticed amidst the festivities. The school welcomed everyone to this joyful celebration of colours, lights, music and dance.
The entire ground buzzed with various activities comprising 'Lucky Draws" Sprat the Rat' Casa La Glass' Rifle Shooting' Luck in Treasure' took over the children completely and a special activity 'DJ Tambola Rox' was organized for parents. Swings like' Merry-Go-Round' 'Columbus' 'Mickey Mouse' and' Bull Riding' brought a new life in fun and frolic of the celebration. The school decorated beautifully with sharply glazed Christmas tree and well-adorned image of Santa Claus instilled the feeling of festival, joy and positivity in the whole school. Various food stalls were setup with a variety of lip- smacking eatables.
It marked itself a special occasion for everyone as the Director Dr. O. P. Yadav, Chairperson Dr. Pavitra Rao and Principal Dr. Sarita V. Singh graced the celebration with their divine presence. It was a memorable and nostalgic time for both students and alumni. Above all, the celebration was a boisterous triumph and jubilant way of ushering in the Christmas celebration.
All the dignitaries exhorted the students to take a resolution to help the needy and thanked the parents for being a part of the Carnival. We wished each one “Merry Christmas” and said let Christmas sparkle with moments of love, laughter and goodwill in their life.

Gurpurab Celebration

Gurpurab Celebration “Nanak Naam Jahaaz hai Jo Chadhe So Uttre Paar!” Guru Nanak Ji was the first of the ten Sikh gurus and founder of Sikhism. His birth anniversary is observed as ‘Gurpurb’ across the globe. Guru Nanak ji travelled widely to spread the message of oneness and compassion. To observe this auspicious occasion, RPS School Mahendergarh Middle Wing presented a special assembly. The students came dressed in traditional Sikh attire and the assembly commenced with prayer followed by a demonstration of the customary ‘Prabaht Pheri’. Some students shared useful information relating to the life and teachings of ‘Guru Nanak Dev Ji’. The little champs also presented the Shabads and Kirtan. Several in the audience could be seen tapping the floor in devotion. Finally the ‘EK Onkar’ Prayer was chanted by the students in reverence and homage.
