Winter Carnival

Christmas is the time for family and friends to come together and there’s no better way to get in merry spirits than hosting or attending a ‘Winter Carnival’. This year too, the fragrance of fun, joy and enthusiasm along with the festive spirit was felt in the Winter Carnival at   RPS Sr. Sec. School M/Garh . On 25th December 2019, all the parents, guardians, friends, students and well-wishers of RPS school gathered the school premises to enjoy and celebrate ‘Winter Carnival’. The morning was cold but it went unnoticed amidst the festivities. The school welcomed everyone to this joyful celebration of colours, lights, music and dance. The entire ground buzzed with various activities comprising 'Lucky Draws" Sprat the Rat' Casa La Glass' Rifle Shooting' Luck in Treasure' took over the children completely and a special activity 'DJ Tambola Rox' was organized for parents. ‘Gita Mahotsava’ Celebration “You have a right to perform your prescribed duties,  but you are entitled to the fruits of your actions.  Never consider yourself to be the cause of results of your activities,  nor be attached to inaction.” (Bhagwat Gita, Chapter 2- Verse 47) The Bhagavat Gita is such an important scripture that it can help us get out of the dilemma of life. The Gita gives us the unique way of life that eases off our tension to enjoy a happy life. The Gita is based upon the fundamental principles of human nature. It will always be a source of inspiration to human beings. Keeping  all the significance of Gita for the students, RPS Sr. Sec. School Mahendergarh  (Middle Wing) celebrated ‘Gita Mahotsava’. Students enacted on stage as’ Lord Krishna’ and ‘Arjuna’ bringing to life the scene on the battlefield of Kurukshetra when ‘Lord Krishana’ preached the Gita to Arjuna. Many students chanted a few shlokas in Sanskrit and explained their meaning
