Inter - House Maths Quiz competition

 Quiz competitions help the students think with a different perspective. It also promotes many good qualities like team work, problem-solving skills, time management, patience etc. In order to test the knowledge of the basic concepts, an Inter-House Mathematics Competition for the students of Middle Wing  (VI to VIII) of RPS Sr. Sec School M/garh was conducted in the assembly on 04th Dec, 2019.
There were 4 teams viz Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta. The quiz began with a lot of anticipation and excitement. There were five rounds like Question-Solving Round, Buzzer Round, Visual Round and Rapid-Fire Round. The Gama team won the competition and bagged the first position.
All the participants solved the questions enthusiastically along with the audience. The audience comprising students from 6 to 8 enjoyed watching and participating in the quiz. They gained a lot of knowledge about mathematics. Some questions were directed to the audience too and they responded enthusiastically. Overall it was an enriching, interesting and fun making activity.
On this occasion, Dr. Pavitra Rao (Chairperson) congratulated the winners and quoted That mathematics served us in many other aspects of life more than a subject that everyone in school needed to take it as. It helps them make better decisions. It teaches us how to solve the hard challenges. It is an asset that will pay dividends throughout our lives. So, learn mathematics by heart. Dr. Sarita V. Singh (Principal), Mr. Dharmesh Kaushik (Administrator) and Priti Sharma (Head Middle Wing ) gave their best wishes to all students and advised them to work hard for the better future.

Constitution Day Celebration

The  Middle Wing of RPS Sr Sec School M/Garh celebrated the Constitution Day on 26th November. The aim was to make students aware of the fact that the Constitution of India was adopted by the constituent assembly on 26th November 1949 to honour democracy. The assembly began with a scintillating performance by the school orchestra.     Students of class VI to VIII presented a skit to celebrate the constitution as a “Living Document”, capable of adopting itself to current situation. The skit highlighted the four guiding principles of Indian Constitution, “Library, Equality, Justice and Fraternity” and their relevance in modern India. It left a message that the constitution is not a remote document but permeates every aspect of our life.      On the 11th anniversary of the Mumbai terror attacks, RPS family remembered our brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our safety.
