Inter - House Maths Quiz competition

“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations computations or algorithms: It is only about UNDERSTANDING” Quiz competitions help the students think with a different perspective. It also promotes many good qualities like team work, problem-solving skills, time management, patience etc. In order to test the knowledge of the basic concepts, an Inter-House Mathematics Competition for the students of Middle Wing  (VI to VIII) of RPS Sr. Sec School M/garh was conducted in the assembly on 04th Dec, 2019. There were 4 teams viz Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta. The quiz began with a lot of anticipation and excitement. There were five rounds like Question-Solving Round, Buzzer Round, Visual Round and Rapid-Fire Round. The Gama team won the competition and bagged the first position. Constitution Day Celebration

The  Middle Wing of RPS Sr Sec School M/Garh celebrated the Constitution Day on 26th November. The aim was to make students aware of the fact that the Constitution of India was adopted by the constituent assembly on 26th November 1949 to honour democracy. The assembly began with a scintillating performance by the school orchestra.     Students of class VI to VIII presented a skit to celebrate the constitution as a “Living Document”, capable of adopting itself to current situation. The skit highlighted the four guiding principles of Indian Constitution, “Library, Equality, Justice and Fraternity” and their relevance in modern India. It left a message that the constitution is not a remote document but permeates every aspect of our life.      On the 11th anniversary of the Mumbai terror attacks, RPS family remembered our brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our safety. Welcome Ceremony

The new session 2019-20 of primary department of RPS M/Garh commenced with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. RPS family organised Havan Ceremony to seek the divine blessings of the almighty for the new session. All the teachers and students participated in the Havan with an utmost respect and devotion. Honourable chairperson Dr. Pavitra Rao extended best wishes to students and motivated them to work hard & believe in themselves to achieve the goal. The teachers canveyed their blessing by applying Tilak to all the students. The principal Dr. Sarita V Singh gave his heartfelt wishes to the students and inspired them to work with stern commitment and preservance. In all, it was a great way to get the school started off with a bang!
