'Children's Day' is celebrated across India as a tribute to India’s first Prime Minister, Jawarharlal Nehru. He is fondly known as ‘Chacha Nehru’ among children. He advocated children to have education fulfilled.
To pay honour and respect to Nehru Ji, The Middle Wing of RPS Mahendergarh celebrated 'The Children Day' at a grand scale. Every teacher brought his/her expertise and talent into the show. With emotional poems, soulful singing performances, humorous skits and energy packed dance increased the number of shouts amongst students. It was like a hit Bollywood Movie.
The students were overwhelmed with entire efforts of teachers. They cheered their teachers as they saw them on the stage. They laughed boisterously at their jokes. They also sang in chorus and applauded the dance performance.
On this occasion, Dr. Pavitra Rao (Chairperson) congratulated the students and quoted Children are the future of the nation; Children of today will make India of tomorrow. She also advised all teachers to take care of every child because every child is special. Dr. Sarita V.Singh (Principal) and Priti Sharma Head(Middle Wing) greeted the students and motivated them to follow the teachings of Nehru Ji.
‘Happy Children Day’
