“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations computations or algorithms: It is only about UNDERSTANDING” Quiz competitions help the students think with a different perspective. It also promotes many good qualities like team work, problem-solving skills, time management, patience etc. In order to test the knowledge of the basic concepts, an Inter-House Mathematics Competition for the students of Middle Wing  (VI to VIII) of RPS Sr. Sec School M/garh was conducted in the assembly on 04th Dec, 2019. There were 4 teams viz Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta. The quiz began with a lot of anticipation and excitement. Cancer Awareness Campaign

Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide. It accounts for 7.4 million deaths (around 13% of all deaths) yearly. Cancer often creates fear which comes out of ignorance and misconception. More than 30% of cancer cases could be prevented by modifying life style or avoiding key factors. RPS school, Mahendergarh Middle wing conducted a cancer awareness program for students and society. In it the cancer was explained in detail with epidemiological viewpoints by Dr. Monu Yadav (SMO ) Dr. Nisha, Mr. Ajay Kakad (Pharmacist) at Civil Hospital Mohindergarah. Also the history of cancer, types assessment of cancer treatment, and kinds of malignant growth treatment accessible was made clear. Closing Ceremony of Summer Camp

Today was the closing ceremony of summer camp. Instead of scorching heat, all campers’ parents attended this ceremony. All the campers, parents as well as teachers were highly excited to be a part of a heart touching ceremony. All children expressed their talent and newly learnt skills like dance, drama, group song, solo song, personality development skills and yoga skills etc. In the nutshell, it was an amazing and unforgettable experience for children along with teachers. We hope for to be continue, the process of every ward’s personal growth.
